B.S., Governors State University
What do you want your students to take away from having known you?
I want to share my fascination and wonder of the world with my students, and inspire them to take away respect for the science that surrounds us everywhere, as well as a love of learning about science. I want my students to take away confidence in themselves and their abilities to do great things no matter what their interests may be. I also want them to know that it is OK to make mistakes and the learning that occurs from those mistakes is often the most profound.
How do you keep current with the subject areas you cover?
I am fascinated with the world in which we live, and I often read about new scientific discoveries and new advancements in scientific research to incorporate into classroom activities.
What are some of your interests and hobbies?
I love to read, bake, and spend time with my family and friends.
