Andrea Durbin is the Chief Executive Officer of Illinois Collaboration on Youth. A passionate and life-long advocate for young people, she leads ICOY’s work to improve the lives of children, youth, and their families.
Durbin previously served as ICOY policy and advocacy director. She also worked for seven years in education, including two years as MPA director of admission, and for eight years at Aunt Martha’s Youth Service Center, where she designed and developed programs for high-risk youth and health services for medically underserved communities.
Durbin has a master’s degree in social work administration from the University of Chicago, and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University. She and her husband have three teenage and young adult children, including a former MPA student. The family lives in Morgan Park.
