Meet the Class of 2019 — Zara

Zara University of Michigan Major: Biology and Public Health Hometown: New Lenox >> MEET THE CLASS OF 2019 In her own words: “In my many years at MPA, I’ve enjoyed so many of the opportunities I have been blessed with. The tennis team has been like a family for me all four years, and finally going to state senior year was so rewarding. South Korea was an experience I will never forget, and traveling with my best friends exploring a new culture was amazing. Nevertheless, the little memories made goofing around in class, opens and basically everywhere made each day enjoyable.” From [...]

Meet the Class of 2019 — Ethan

Ethan Loyola University Chicago Major: Environmental Sciences Hometown: Beverly >> MEET THE CLASS OF 2019 In his own words: “The beauty of MPA comes in all the little moments. Every time I got to make a new friend, got some much-needed help from a teacher, or helped someone else. All of these things show the beauty that all of us at MPA are a family, a part of a collective, but each bringing our own part.” From his teachers: “Getting to know Ethan has been a real pleasure. I admire his intelligent, snarky, and occasionally dark sense of humor. He often has [...]

To Infinity and Beyond

By Emmanuel Sarpong ’19 When I was finishing up my eighth-grade year and looking at high schools, my mom asked me about a school called Morgan Park Academy. Even though I lived close to the school and had passed it many times, I never knew it was a high school. I was a bit nervous about going to a school I never heard of. I applied, got in, and it was probably one of the best decisions I ever made in my life. In four years at MPA, I have been a part of many different groups in my time here, [...]
