David Hales P’35 is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Tradable Credit Group at Monroe Capital, a Chicago-based asset management firm specializing in private credit. With over 18 years of experience in asset management, investment banking, and financial advisory — with a focus on special situations, restructurings, and turnarounds — Hales brings robust expertise in strategic financial oversight. His background includes leadership roles as a Senior Director at Alvarez & Marsal and a Vice President at Lazard.
A resident of Beverly, Hales earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Northeastern University. He and his wife have one child at MPA with a second soon to enroll.
