Amy Delaney is the founding partner of DDV Law, Ltd, where she concentrates her practice in elder law, probate, guardianships, and trusts with special attention to protecting the rights of seniors and other vulnerable adults.
Ms. Delaney has received the highest A.V. rating for ethics and expertise as determined by the judiciary and bar by Martindale-Hubbell, has been appointed by her peers as Leading Lawyer and Super Lawyer, and was awarded the highest rating by consumers on avvo.com.
She is a prior a professor at the John Marshall Law School, served on the Board of the University of Illinois College of Nursing, and continues to serve on the board of the Veterans Legal Aid Society (VLAS). At VLAS, she has created a scholarship fund to benefit the students of Morgan Park Academy. She is an active member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, where she assists in the drafting of legislation to further the interests of seniors and people with disabilities.
Ms. Delaney is a graduate of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she earned her B.A. and M.A., and attended law school at Lewis & Clark’s Northwestern School of Law in Portland, Oregon.
