Most recently, as Chairman of Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution, he oversaw The Walt Disney Company’s full portfolio of media businesses globally, and was responsible for bringing its unparalleled storytelling to diverse audiences around the world.
“We are pleased to have Mr. Daniel address the Class of 2023 and the MPA community,” Head of School Mercedes Z. Sheppard said. “He sets a tremendous example for our graduates and his experiences and insights will surely inspire them. I greatly look forward to welcoming him back to campus.”
Prior to his career at Disney, Daniel held roles in both equity research and investment banking at Goldman Sachs, specializing in technology, media, and telecommunications, after a previous career as a computer programmer.
He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the McDonald’s Corporation.
