Upper School students explored their creativity in a series of poetry workshops led by visiting alumnus Justus Pugh.
Pugh’s “Afrotranscendental” poetry, storytelling, and culinary fiction with Village X Magazine is guided by the idea that our imagination is our ancestors’ wildest dreams, inherited.
Outside of art, he holds a degree from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and works at the intersection of technology, data science, community development, and social equity.
