Solana

University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee

Major: Engineering
Hometown: Beverly

In her own words:

“My MPA experience was a lot shorter than many of my classmates; however, I feel as though I’ve been here for much longer than four years. The uniqueness of my small class, and the small size of the school truly made the past four years amazing. I’ve made lifelong friends and lifelong memories that I wouldn’t trade for the world. I’ve grown so much at MPA, and I’ve gotten to do just about everything I wanted to do, things that I may not have been able to accomplish at any other school. MPA has truly shaped me into the person that I am today. I want to thank my friends for helping me become that person; my teachers for leading me in the right direction; and my parents for giving me the amazing opportunity of coming to this school.”

Her teacher says:

“Solana can often be found laughing and having fun with her friends. She shows her passion and zeal for life in both conversation and the way she approaches tasks in the classroom and in outside activities. I loved seeing Solana on the volleyball court as she worked together with her teammates to go for the point.

“My favorite memories of Solana are from the Upper School musical this year. She was fantastic as the witch in “Big Fish” (along with some other cast support roles) and it was so much fun to see her put her passion to work in an artistic way in bringing this character to life on stage. I have no doubt that Solana will pursue her goals with equal passion and fervor as she moves forward to her next steps.”
