Morgan Park Academy’s math team posted another strong performance in state-level competition, placing 22nd with an armful of individual and team medals in Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ICTM) testing this spring.
Competing in Division 1A against similarly sized schools, the Warriors shined in the following events:
INDIVIDUAL AWARDS
- Pre-Calculus – Merlin, seventh place
- Pre-Calculus – Lydia, eighth place (tie)
- Pre-Calculus – Tiffany, eighth place (tie)
- Geometry – April, 50th place
TEAM AWARDS
- Pre-Calculus – second place (Dylan, Merlin, Lydia, Tiffany, Elijah, Celia)
- Junior-Senior 8-person team – sixth place (Kaleb, Tiffany, Merlin, Michaela, Lydia, Niki, Joshua, Selena)
- Algebra 2 – eighth place (Joshua, Josh, Kaleb, Sean, Michaela, Selena, Niki)
- Orals – 20th place (Andrew and Arnav)
