MPA Ranked Among the State’s Top Private Schools


Morgan Park Academy remains the top school in Chicago’s Southland area and one of the best in the state, according to an annual report from the school rankings and reviews website Niche.com. MPA was among 2.5% of schools nationwide to receive an overall grade of A+ and ranked No. 8 among Illinois K-12 private schools and No. 13 among the state’s private high schools. Senior Tennis Duo Aims for State Again


By Tim O’Brien The Beverly Review Ayanna King qualified for the state tennis tournament in her freshman and sophomore seasons for Morgan Park Academy (MPA). Last season, her junior year, was heavily impacted by the pandemic as the Illinois High School Association allowed a sectional meet but not a state tournament. Junior Trio Leads Girls Volleyball


By Tim O’Brien The Beverly Review Preparing for the fall volleyball season, Olivia Fitch knew she needed to fulfill a more prominent leadership role for the MPA volleyball team. She won’t be alone. She’ll have plenty of help from two other juniors, libero Oriella Ortiz and setter Maya Adams.
