Varsity girls tennis wrapped up a shortened fall season last weekend at the IHSA sectional tournament, with six Warriors competing in singles and doubles.
In singles play, Brooke won two matches before falling in the quarterfinals, while Ayanna got tripped up by a tough first-round matchup. Both girls qualified last year for the state tournament, which has been canceled this season.
In doubles, the duo of Michaela and Taylor also won two matches to reach the quarterfinals, and Celia and Jada won one match.
