In her own words:

“In my many years at MPA, I’ve enjoyed so many of the opportunities I have been blessed with. The tennis team has been like a family for me all four years, and finally going to state senior year was so rewarding. South Korea was an experience I will never forget, and traveling with my best friends exploring a new culture was amazing. Nevertheless, the little memories made goofing around in class, opens and basically everywhere made each day enjoyable.”

From her teachers:

“Zara is an amazingly kind, inspiring, and thoughtful young lady. She has exhausted all opportunities that MPA has offered and has left an everlasting imprint on our school. Her blunt honesty about herself or a situation has never failed to make me smile and is something I dearly admire. Zara’s dedication, smile, honesty, and hard work will be missed dearly! MPA girls tennis won’t be the same next year! Can’t wait to see all the amazing things she will achieve.”

From her classmates:

“Zara is a very intelligent, motivated, and passionate person. Although it takes her 40 minutes to park straight, she is a very well-rounded person and is one of the people I will remember forever. I know she will go on to do great things, but this town isn’t big enough for the both of us.”
— Manny

“Every morning at exactly 8:05 a.m., Zara would enter the school parking lot and double-park in the spot next to me. Now we have developed a system where we correct each other’s parking job. Good times, going to miss those.”
— Connor

“Zara has become one of my closest friends. I remember my first moment with her: In fifth grade, Zara arrived at MPA and was wandering around Hansen Hall looking for her classes. It was 8:00 a.m., and we needed to be in advisory. I called her over and we walked over to the Arts Center together.”
— Angela

“Very funny and also determined to accomplish something in life. Very glad to have gone to South Korea with her!”
— Carter

“Zara is a people person who loves to make people happy, it’s just she struggles with parking.”
