Morgan Park Academy students had a unique opportunity to explore potential careers in science and engineering at the 32nd annual Science Careers in Search of Women conference at Argonne National Laboratory on April 11, 2019.

MPA juniors Amari Green, Abbey Haynes, Celeste Kettaneh, Kaitlyn Mullings, and Kennedy Olguin met Argonne’s world-class scientists and engineers, attended career panel discussions and presentations, and toured science and engineering facilities across the lab.

Argonne Education, in conjunction with Women in Science and Technology, offers female high school students an extraordinary opportunity to explore the world of STEM research at Science Careers in Search of Women. The conference provides participants with the unique experience to explore their desired profession or area of interest.
