Omar Raddawi ’03 became the first recipient of Morgan Park Academy’s new Young Alumni Award as he returned to campus to address the Class of 2018 and their families, friends, and teachers at the annual Senior Breakfast on June 1.

Raddawi is an associate attorney at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in New York, practicing corporate law with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and lending transactions.

After graduating summa cum laude from Princeton University, where he majored in public and international affairs with a focus on Near Eastern Studies, he earned a master’s degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science, spent six months working on Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign, and earned a law degree at New York University, focusing on business law.

“MPA is preparing you for college and beyond,” Raddawi told the Class of 2018. “This is a special community with special people, led by the teachers and the administration. I am truly and forever indebted to [them] for my education and development as a human being.”
