Morgan Park Academy’s graduating seniors had some very exciting options as they made their college decisions this spring.
The Class of 2018 earned $3.3 million in scholarship offers and gained admission at elite national universities such as University of Chicago, Brown University, Rice University, University of Notre Dame, Washington University in St. Louis, University of California at Berkeley, University of Southern California, University of Michigan, Tufts University, New York University, Georgia Institute of Technology, and Case Western Reserve University; and top liberal arts schools such as Williams College and Carleton College.
In the past decade, MPA students have been accepted by 28 of the nation’s top 30 colleges and universities, as ranked by US News & World Report, bucking a trend that has seen acceptance rates dip below 10 percent at the most selective schools.
In addition to the schools listed above, recent acceptances include Princeton University, Yale University, Columbia University, Stanford University, University of Pennsylvania, Duke University, California Institute of Technology, Dartmouth College, Johns Hopkins University, Northwestern University, Cornell University, Vanderbilt University, Georgetown University, Emory University, University of California at Los Angeles, Carnegie Mellon University, University of Virginia, Wake Forest University, and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
We couldn’t be prouder to see the nation’s top schools recognize the character, accomplishments, and future potential of MPA graduates.
Congratulations to all!
