Morgan Park Academy’s graduating seniors had some very exciting options as they made their college decisions this spring.

The Class of 2017 gained admission at elite national schools such as University of Pennsylvania, Dartmouth College, University of Chicago, Johns Hopkins University, Northwestern University, Brown University, Vanderbilt University, Washington University in St. Louis, University of California at Berkeley, Georgetown University, University of California at Los Angeles, University of Michigan, New York University, and Case Western Reserve University.

Also featured on the collective list of acceptances were many of the nation’s top liberal arts schools, including Williams College, Amherst College, Carleton College, Claremont McKenna College, Colgate University, and Haverford College.

In the past 10 years, MPA students have been accepted by 22 of the nation’s top 25 colleges and universities, as ranked by US News & World Report, bucking a trend that has seen acceptance rates dip below 10 percent at the most selective schools.

In addition to the schools listed above, recent acceptances include Princeton University, Yale University, Columbia University, Stanford University, Duke University, California Institute of Technology, Cornell University, University of Notre Dame, Emory University, University of Southern California, Carnegie Mellon University, University of Virginia, Tufts University, Wake Forest University, and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

We couldn’t be prouder to see the nation’s top schools recognize the character, accomplishments, and future potential of MPA graduates.

Congratulations to all!
