Morgan Park Academy’s graduating seniors had some very exciting options as they made their college decisions this spring.

The Class of 2016 gained admission at elite national schools such as Georgetown University, Northwestern University, Washington University in St. Louis, Emory University, New York University, Case Western Reserve University, George Washington University, University of California at Los Angeles, University of Michigan, and Boston College.
Also featured on the collective list of acceptances were many of the nation’s top liberal arts schools, including Carleton College, Vassar College, Macalester College, Kenyon College, Barnard College, Scripps College, Union College, Occidental College, DePauw University, and Rhodes College.
The average four-year scholarship award was more than $50,000 per student.
In the past eight years, MPA students have been accepted by 21 of the nation’s top 25 colleges and universities, as ranked by US News & World Report, bucking a trend that has seen acceptance rates dip below 10 percent at the most selective schools.
Those recent acceptances also include Princeton University, Yale University, Columbia University, Stanford University, University of Chicago, Duke University, University of Pennsylvania, California Institute of Technology, Dartmouth College, Johns Hopkins University, Cornell University, Brown University, University of Notre Dame, Vanderbilt University, University of Virginia, University of Southern California, Tufts University, and Wake Forest University.
We couldn’t be prouder to see the nation’s top schools recognize the character, accomplishments, and future potential of MPA graduates.
Congratulations to all!
