Last week’s all-service day was once again a success and it’s always so rewarding to see our students give so graciously to others. Lower Schoolers constructed a “giving tree”, where students drew, wrote, or brought in pictures of them helping someone else. In Middle School, activities ranged from students making wreaths out of toys for Advocate Children’s Hospital, to preparing a webinar on cultural tolerance, to assembling care packages for victims of domestic violence. In the Upper School, students volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, the Anti-Cruelty Society, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the Greater Chicago Food Depository, at Arts of Life, and with Feed My Starving Children.
