Orientation for all 9th graders and new 10th, 11th, 12th grade students. Organized by Student Council, this program is full of important information for new Upper School students, including locker assignments, advisory groups, and peer mentors, plus a tour of important campus resources and locations. Light lunch provided.
Orientation for students and parents in Preschool, Kindergarten, and 1st grade; or new to 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. Families will convene in the Arts Center gallery for a welcome and introduction before visiting classrooms for an overview of the school year with homeroom teachers.
Senior parents are invited to meet our new Director of College Preparation, Theresa Wright, and hear about her approach to preparing students for the college process. Families will be able to schedule individual meetings with Mrs. Wright for a later date.
All parents are invited for complimentary coffee and danishes as the Head of School and President of the Parents Association welcome the community. Information about Parents Association events are presented, volunteer sign-ups are available and school merchandise is for sale. The Opening Day Coffee is organized by the Parents Association Executive Committee.
