CHICAGO, IL, January 22, 2010 – The Academy has
announced it will host an Open House on Sunday, February 7, 2010 at 1 p.m. on
the school’s campus at 2153 111th
Street in Chicago.
The event will give parents, who are interested in cultivating the full
potential of their children, an opportunity to examine the Academy’s unique
approach to educational excellence. For more than 137 years, Morgan Park
Academy has remained
committed to supporting and promoting an educational environment where children
become independent thinkers and ultimately, global leaders. As a result, graduates of the Academy are
consistently accepted to the finest colleges and universities.
Activities
and information presented at the Open House will focus on providing insight on
the Academy’s world class faculty, sustainable campus community, commitment to
diversity, and global approach to education.
Dr.
Catherine Raaflaub, the Academy’s first female Head of School, encourages all
parents who are looking for educational opportunities and advantages for their children to attend the Academy’s Open
House and spend some time speaking with teachers, touring the campus and
meeting with administrators. “This is a very exciting time for Morgan Park
Academy,” said Raaflaub.
“The Academy is a gorgeous school with an impressive faculty, great kids,
