As an independent, non-profit organization, Morgan Park Academy is funded primarily by tuition and fees, which are used to finance operating costs such as school programs, faculty and staff salaries, and maintenance of our facilities.

Additional Costs

Whenever possible, required fees are bundled into the tuition cost. Already included are Parents Association dues, AP exam fees, yearbooks, Middle School Global Week trips, and some field trips.

  • There is a one-time registration fee of $1,000 for each new student.
  • School lunch is not available for Grades K-1.
  • Upper School students also must pay a one-time cost of $500 for their iPads. 
  • Costs for Upper School Project Week trips range from zero to $4,000 for international travel. 

Sibling Discount

Families enrolling more than one student are eligible for a 10% discount on tuition for the second and subsequent children.

Payment Plans

We offer the following payment options for parents:

Payment in Full: Tuition is due in full by June 5 before the start of the new school year.

Quarterly Payments: Tuition is paid in four quarterly installments.

Monthly Payments: Tuition is paid in 11 monthly installments. Payments under this option must begin by June before the start of the new school year and continue on a monthly basis through April of the next year. Payments are due on the 5th or 20th of each month as per the FACTS agreement.

Tuition Refund Insurance

For parents who wish to protect themselves against the possibility of financial loss, the school makes available, through a third party, a program of insurance that provides reimbursement in the event of permanent separation of the student from the school.

Tuition Refund Insurance is mandatory for families on the quarterly and monthly payment plans, and is optional for parents electing to pay the tuition fee in full. Pre-authorized payments are required for the quarterly and monthly plans via FACTS Tuition Management. Accounts must be set up prior to the start of the school year.

Contracts are binding seven business days after submitted.
