Tuition
As a non-profit organization, the Academy's main revenue source is tuition fees, which are used to finance the school's operating costs including school programs, teachers' salaries and benefits, and facility maintenance.
These elements define the Academy experience, which we cannot afford to compromise. Education is a people-intensive business. At Morgan Park Academy, students enjoy the benefits of smaller classes taught by highly qualified, passionate teachers.
Parents can expect that tuition fees will increase each year to help facilitate our commitment to excellence. With outstanding programming and top faculty, we are sure that parents and students will find that Morgan Park Academy lives up to the promise of delivering the best education in Chicago.
2013-2014 Tuition & Fees
Pre-Kindergarten (3PK & 4PK) - $14,200
Kindergarten - $14,200
Lower School (Grades 1-4) - $17,100
Middle School (Grades 5-8) - $19,600
Upper School (Grades 9-12) - $21,700
Newly enrolling students in Grades K through 12 will pay a one-time registration fee of $1,000.
Re-enrolling families pay a non-refundable deposit equal to 10% of tuition, and newly enrolling families pay a non-refundable deposit equal to 20% of tuition, at the time the contract is due, to secure their place in the coming academic year. The deposit is applied to tuition.
Not included in the tuition and fees are the cost of books, the purchase of gym clothes for grades 4 through 12, musical instrument rental, and graduation. Additional/optional fees may include: field trips, Project Week, Advanced Placement Examinations, before and after school care, lunch program, and transportation. The total of these additional fees is dependent upon each student's grade level and participation in available school programs and can range from $50 to $4,000.
Payment Plans
Morgan Park Academy offers the convenience of three payment plans: Annual, Quarterly (four quarterly payments), or Monthly (11 monthly payments, June-April). Payments are due on the 5th or 20th of the month as per the FACTS agreement.
Annual: You may choose whether or not to participate in the Tuition Refund Insurance plan. This payment is due in June.
Quarterly and Monthly Plans: Tuition Refund Insurance is included in the fees. Pre-authorized payments are required for the Quarterly and Monthly plans via FACTS Tuition Management. All accounts must be set up prior to the start of the school year.

Sibling Discount
Families enrolling more than one student in Morgan Park Academy are eligible for a 10% discount on tuition for the second and subsequent children.
